BPA is toxic and banned in Canada and the US, right? Not exactly. BPA was only banned in the manufacturing of baby bottles. There is no restriction on its use in food containers. There is also no restriction on the use of BPS or BPF, which are the hormone-disrupting replacements often used to create "BPA-Free" products, which scientific studies show is no safer.
